Snowdrop is the vehicle of the hour on Saturday. A friend of mine is getting married and a 1500TC seems to be what she wants!

Depends on where you drive. The local traffic cops have gone through phases of "zero tolerance" in dealing with people who display non-reflectives on the road, one persistent offender now has a Q plate on his car after failing to respond to a VDRO, followed by a fixed penalty and a court appearance after that.
On the other hand, a mate of mine had stopped on the verge to change a wheel after suffering a puncture on his 1973, but L-registered Austin 1800. A traffic car pulled in behind him and its driver got out, helped him with getting the wheel nuts off, positioning the jack and replacing the flat then commented on how nice the car looked, walked all about it peeking through the windows and would almost certainly have seen the "PLG" VED disc, but then got back in his Police car and buggered off, but is it worth the risk of ending up with a Q? Some Polises don't even know that I'm allowed to display my non-reflective plates and I've sat waiting in the car on a couple of occasions now while Polises who've tugged me over call their senior officer to check that I'm not spinning them a line about the pre-'73 entitlement.
One such stop was locally, just over the Border in the L&B force area, the other was in the West Yorks Met area.

But the black plates do look really good against the orange paint.

Absolutely love the finished car.

The colour and wheels suit it perfectly and I love the wing mirrors but did think they were unusable where you positioned them  .They would look just as good on the doors I reckon :)
