1978 Twilight Purple Dolomite 1850HL The Lolomite.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

One of our flat mates keeps putting officious signs up rather than talking to people. I've followed her lead.

Joe, please forgive me yet another on-topic excursion but I couldn't let this pass since I actually quite like dogs and wouldn't wish to poison one of these fine beasts! :-

Theobromine, an ingredient of chocolate is extremely poisonous, indeed potentially fatal to dogs so, assuming that your poor pet is still alive after the crime spree detailed above, keep a close eye on her and if she appears to be distressed get her to a vets sharpish.

Chaos, panic and disorder. Anyone would think there was some major disaster about to happen, not just one union threatening to strike at some indeterminate point in the future...

Still, perfect example of the concept of self-fulfilling prophecies...

No strike for that one, JPB, even the best programs get interrupted for Public Service announcements sometimes :)

...Thanks john, but she's ok -thanks so much for your concern tho', but she's a tough old girl...
.... you wouldnt think a jack russell could jump the 2 and a half feet required to knock over a boxed easter egg, rip it open and smuggle it out the room....but she can!

....too damn smart that dog!

Suki, my JR cross cleared a newly fitted 4.5 foot fence in one bound half an hour after the fitting people left. That was £280 wasted completely. Miss that little mutt, she was lovely.

Not in any way related to arecent mis-print on a tax disk, but just noticed that the replacement tax disk that arrived recently was addressed like this:

Now, I know we have 2 Dafs parked outside most of the time, and the locals have started using them as a landmark, but does that really qualify them for their own postcode????
