I left PKN with the sprayer earlier in the week for him to have a look to see how much welding is needed. I knew it needed a patch on the right hand rear wheel arch/boot floor. This became apparent when I had my prang at Castle Combe last year. He's had it up on the ramp & given it a thorough going over but that was about it welding wise. The MoT guy said it was pretty solid underneath.

I'm off to collect the car from the spray shop in the morning so we'll be discussing tactics. To keep the cost down I'm going to have whatever paint he has spare (probably). He wants my Weber 45s so that will be part of the deal also. I'm going to have the engine bay sprayed as well so over the weekend I shall remove the engine & gearbox, also I will be getting rid of the vinyl roof and removing the 'D' post vinyls carefully.
