John Butler of Vindicator Cars has kindly agreed to transport my project Dolomite to the show in return for costs and a corner of the stand for an advert.

He is also hopefully going to lend a large screen display TV on a stand so just need to work out a PC interface to get a presentation going.

Fingers crossed there will also be a two door toledo on the stand to work on including a door re-skin, so looks like there will be plenty to do.

• Toledo door re skin
• Toledo diagnosis and recommission (its a barn car currently)
• Dolomite cill
• Dolomite GRP front panels fitting
• Dolomite clutch hydraulics
• Dolomite brake hydraulics and new pipework - anyone able to bring a flaring kit?
• Dolomite internal valet, refitting of tranny tunnel etc

We need a welding screen to shield the arc from public view; can anyone assist with this?

It would be great, particularly given all the confusion and angst over whether there was to be a TDC display or not, if, now that there is to be such, members and non-members alike could really get behind this, show off our cars, and also show that as a club we can make things happen, even at short notice. I look forward to meeting a few of those known thus far only through this forum.

Just bumping this, to keep a topic about showing and taking pleasure in the cars after which the club is named above topics about social networking sites.

Thanks for bringing the spares Tony, much appreciated.

Anybody going from the North East who fancies giving me a lift? as i want to look around the cars for sale, with a view to driving something back, and can't really do that if i drive down.

Nearly forgot the most important things; can anyone bring a kettle? I'll bring some teabags and milk, but only have a stove top kettle!!

Oh, and if you take sugar you'd better bring some, its not a substance I buy!

Just got back from Stoneleigh, happy to announce that there are clouds of rust, and smoke, mixed with angle grinder and welding sparks in one corner of the hall!

Guess who that is then :D
