I really want an XJS, with my dislike of electrics, this is not a great plan I feel.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Did someone mention Christmas fever?

Alternating hot and cold temperature, aches in places I never realised could ache, brain feels like it's inside-out and unable to retain anything I vaguely attempt to digest. Bah humbug :x

You wouldn't believe how much time I wasted trying to get a shot with an over-run flame in it. Shame that when I did, there was a bloody great truck in the way. Think I saved it.
Not bad for an xbox game I think!

I got a thumbs up and a big grin from the driver of a Mk II Escort all done out in rally colours last week, not more than half a mile from home. In all my years and hundreds of thousands of miles driving Triumphs in the South East I've never seen that. I do like this corner of the country.

Shut my left index finger in the back door of the van. The same finger that I cut through the nail right down the middle, with a hinged metal bar dropping on it, bled for hours.
Allegedly, I'm right handed.

Dad found this 1970s petrol ration book for his Hillman Superminx today, unused as the crisis was averted at the 11th hour. Nice piece of memorabilia which fits nicely with the era of my own car.

Try breathing in a "bit" of rust dust you just ground off, say, a radiator bracket. :? Numbs all sense of taste and smell. Now where did I put those safety goggles and my dust mask ...?
