It's undeniable
I had a soft spot for wing mirrors though! Pretty useless for seeing what's around you but I thought they had a fair bit of period charm

The little plate on the wing was not on the later models. This is W reg - strange.
Most of the HL/Sprint models had all 3 steel strips on the sides od the body/door. I think they really add to the car even if they are a pain for rust.
Back gloss sprayed roof for a Sprint - I dont think so!

Front badge with "DOLOMITE" rather than "TRIUMPH" were fitted to pre-HL models (Not W - reg)
Similarly the angled "Triumph" badge on the front wing. These were fitted to pre-HL only.
This car must be a pre-76 model with a newer registration

the under rider is the answer......adam just loves thinking up new uses for tape.....
