Wondering if anyone can help identify my Sprint cam. I purchased it from Triumphtune (Moss) about 15 years ago. It would be a fast road cam designed to work well with the SUs and the title "Sprint" kinda rings a bell (but I could be making that up!!) Anyone got the details on what Triumphtune offered - from that I can probably work it out.
Thanks

It's actually in the car and going. So there was a cam called "Sprint"?
These details were up on TriumphOwners a while back..
The Sprint profile is similar to a STR91, so will work well with HS6's with nice rich needels, but may be better at the top end with HS8's or 45's.
The 'road' cam has a nicer idle and the 'fast road' was what TT used to say was the ultimate cam for the standard SU's - which was rubbish coz they just wanted to sell a set of 45's to anyone buying a 'Sprint' cam.

I think you have just answered my question. Thanks. It's got to either be the fast road or the Sprint. When we retorque the head after a bit more running in, I'll check to see if the numbers are there. Appreciate the info. Gotta say yet again that this forum is just fantastic.
