Superb choice Ken! Wish I'd never sold mine! It carried my missus to hospital for the birth of both my kids and many many other memorable journeys, never let me down despite abuse and neglect, towed more than its own weight for hundreds of miles at a time, treated a foot of snow like dry tarmac, etc etc!
I'd buy it back in a heartbeat, but AFAIK it's now in Germany towing a Ferrari on a racecar trailer!

Oh and heres a tip, if the front seats are that bad, get some post 64 ones, for the 65 model year (which came out in Oct 64) the seats were ergonomically designed, one of the first production cars to feature this, and are much more comfortable than the earlier ones. Mine being Nov 64 was one of the first cars so fitted and the seats still rank as some of the most comfy I've ever sat in!

You should scratch that itch Al. They are great wafty, comfortable, pseudo 50's Yankalike barges.
More pics and updates to follow when I can. Am a lot hindered at the moment by a rather painful back/leg combo. So things will be a little slow and 'as and when'.
