Rover P6 Convertible
A work colleague has told me about one of these which has been sat outside his house for over a month now. He knows that the guy who owns it has moved away from the area and just left it. He is going to look into it further and get some pics. I was just wondering what sort of money these go for. Obviously depends on condition. I'm not really interested myself but thought someone on here may be?

I wasn't aware they did one; is it a coachbuilder special? One specialist did a few hundred or so P6 estate cars...

Neither was I Alun. All you have to do is to unbolt the roof panel and you have an instant convertible.

shooting brake yes only ever had one of those in our workshop many years ago we were a rover triumph dealer until we were forced to take the rest of the Leyland 'cars'
as for a convertible it's like the 74 camaro on e bay they just didn't make them our trimmer used to take the roof off to fit vinyl roofs and to fit the webasto's he was one of the best trimmers I've seen in many years sadly no longer with us

I believe that there was one factory built prototype which was certainly still around a couple of years ago
