A question for Simon. What Reddith Premier in have you booked into as when I put it Redditch it shows two sites. Redditch North on the A441 and is 10 miles from Avoncroft @ a cost currently of £29 and Redditch West on the A448 which is only 5.6 miles from Avoncroft @ a cost currently of £63.

Hi Richard - we are booked in to the Redditch West (A448) Premier Inn - so may see you and a few others there.

Sue and myself will be there but now we will only be coming for the event and not staying somewhere close on the Saturday night. We will be coming with our daughter and son in law plus their dolomite.

What a shame it's the same weekend as Beaulieu autojumble; this must result in some members not attended (me for one unfortunately)

Can anyone tell me whether
The event (overflow carpark) is hard standing, crush and run or grass? We would like to bring the NW area gazebo.
Parking will be as we arrive or in car types?

Cheers
It isn't Orange!!!!!!
The other one wasn't Purple either!!!
One of the new ones will probably be green, very green.
Another new one is green too but not as green as the previous one. Still pretty green. No, now it's Blue.
The other new one will be white with stripes. Actually it might not. No, it will be.
BUT, that one is definitely Yellow :=}

We actually have the picnic area allocated to us, which is grassed and lined with mature trees. (The overflow car park is also grassed, but simply a field next to the road and far less convivial) Parking will be as arrival, parked in car types sterilises to an extent in my opinion, and prevents groups parking together. The picnic area is not huge though, so it won't be a free for all and there will have to be discipline in where and how you park...hopefully there will be folk marshaling on the day

Hi everyone,
I've just got my car ready to come along and so looking forward to it. I'll be travelling alone so if anyone would like a lift then I'll be happy to oblige. Starting in Retford can come via either Newark & Leicester or Worksop, Mansfield & Nottingham. I'll be making a day of it so if anyone's stuck for transport just pm me with contact details.
Cheers,
Andy.

I hope to be traveling up to this on the Sunday morning, from the south east (Maidstone Kent)

If anyone else is going this way, any chance of meeting up along the way?

Martin.

Andy, any chance of meeting up with you? I doubt I'll be able to make it in my 1850 with the problems I've been having.

I'll be in touch. There's an outside chance of making it in my 1850 depending on if I can get the air out of the braking system.

Edit: The brakes are as bad as ever so I definitely won't be taking my 1850.

We won't be starting to set up until 9-9.30 so 11.30 arrival will be fine Tony.

Why not give Danny a call to see if he wants to travel up with you...
