I've not had any dealings with them but they have a good reputation. Just keep the communication going and you should get a result.

I had the same problem with the 1st set I got from them for the Vitesse. They sent another immediately and it's been trouble free for 6 years or more - famous last words..........

Well I have literally this minute just bought an ignition kit and ignition coil from him an I found him to be very pleasant and offering a good service.......lets see if anything pops up then!!

He seems to have a good reputation and if Mad Mart says he's ok, then that's all the recommendation I need frankly....please keep us posted John.
Come and see some pretty shoddy, slow driving of a really well prepared competition Sprint here!

Hi

Just found out my son didn't register the parcel so no chance of getting anything sorted. If you're buying make sure you give positive feedback on E-Bay or you'll be without you're warranty or any refund folks !!

I will try other avenues, but be warned !!

The kit didn't work sprint didn't even fire, so ordered a coil just in case. Still no spark , all wired and checked. So due to my holiday packed it up and sent back.

If bought of ebay just raise a case? They normally refund pretty fast.

This might not help now, but I may have some info that might be of some use. Was this kit the 'britpart' one?
I was playing with a Sprint distributor and this kit. Tried two kits and no spark at all. So got a refund.

Had next go with the accuspark kit, still no spark. Then had another look at their instructions, it suggested moving the magnet up or down.
It wasn't till I moved the magnet up that I actually got sparks. I ended up modifying the distributor body to lower the base plate enough the get the spark when all was assembled.
So I strongly suspect the britpart kit may have worked with this mod.

Is the powerspark company? If so I've had an electric fuel pump n at restoration show an electronic ignition kit off them.
Mine has worked fine. I alreAdy had a new coil but seems very good. It comes with new cap/rotor arm n leads which for 65 seems great value
They did mess up and not put the dizzy cap so couldn't fit it when I got home!

The fuel pump works fine but is a little noisey on start up! Even though it's placed at the lowest point beneath the tank he still wouldn't have it that it was the pumps fault.
But other than that great product

I've fitted loads of these. The trigger ring sometimes has to be lifted of its seat a few mm to align the magnets with the pickup in the module.

Fitted plenty from Powerspark Ignition and they are always more than happy to help no matter what the issue is. They are always quick to correct mistakes, quick to answer my emails and the phone, not like the other companies.
Looks like you might be the first

When I said everything was fine I've quite obviously jinxed it!!
It ran for around 20 mins as I was warming it up to check the ignition timing. Loosened dizzy off then disaster it ran like a dog... It ran rough and even backfired

Thought something else had happened as you wouldn't suspect the new parts..
Lots of head scratching n checking of fuel side and of a spark which it was getting it turned out the new ignition module had failed. Going back to the points proved this As powerspark weren't having any of it. Anyway new one in the post but what I can say is it's the new larger dizzy cap with different rotor arm that seem to make a stronger spark. Steel contacts in the cap as opposed to brass on rimmers ones

See how it fares
