Alan, it only has one carb (the car's a Dolomite 1300) so it would only need one penny for the conversion.
Well it cost me 4p for my twin SUs (these Triumphs sure are money pits).

Have you considered the condenser.

It would be wise to make sure the ignition is 100%. There are some poor quailty parts out there so it is worth spending that bit more on decent quality parts.
