We were at Silverstone today and I was quite surprised to see three Classic Sprints.
RDU, SOE, and FRW.
There were lots of other ex-BL rally cars as well; Coopers; TR's, 2,000's . Quite a pleasant surprise.
Are they BMIH cars ? Or were they there on the day loaned by generous owners ?
Tony.

They're all cars that came out of the ST workshop and were invited there with their owners.

I went on Sunday to measure up SOE after arranging with the owner to meet up, but he decided to leave on Saturday night.

So, a long fruitless, expensive, wasted day out for nothing!

Absolutely gorgeous looking Sprints :-) A real flavour of their racing past :-) You can just see Andy Rouse / Gerry Marshall / Rex Greenslade at the helm :-)

Shaun - I explained what happened at the time - someone I was with had personal issues to deal with and we had to go - I did not have your number with me. I don't like being misrepresented as if I am disingenuous - anyone who knows me will tell you that's not true. I appreciate you were disappointed - so were we.

Shaun, I will vouch for HSDolly, I don't believe he would have let you down if it could have been avoided.
