dolomite parts on Ebay

Just tried to find some engine parts on Ebay and was so annoyed with this damned site I gave up!
I asked for Dolomite engine, simples.
I asked to refine the search in as much as you can ask to show nearest etc. Just a few weeks ago you could ask to see used only which was great because so many sellers lie and lie some more. But oh no, you do not get that used option any more so now I get adverts for fuel injection pumps etc all claiming to fit Dolomites which of course they don't.
I am amazed at the garbage that comes up when all I want to see is a Dolomite engine........................ARGHHHHHHH.
This afternoon I thought I would rebuild my Sprint engine that has been under my bench for over a decade, however I found that the jackshaft main bore was oval so I turned my attention to a short block that was the subject of a garage rubbish build claim that I bought years ago for spares. This engine was dreadful with the bores oversize by .008" and crank ruined by being ground with no clearance, the chain guide's were smashed and welded and filed, the chain had a split link fitted open to direction and the tensioner was a narrow 1850 or TR7 one. How some people stay in business is beyond me. So I am back in the house unable to finish a project.
I am itching to go back to work but have a couple of hospital visits before I can.
