1500/1850 seats...

#1 Post by HQentity »

Hello everyone!

On my eBay travels I came across a lovely pair of seats from a 1500, namely these ones.

I have a big old tear drivers side in mine on my 1850, so I messaged the seller, he said he *thinks* the rails on my seats are a different size.

Can anyone confirm this for me?! They are a lovely pair of seats! Thanks!

1500HL and 1850HL seats are the same - as are the runners.

Square headlamp cars have slightly less plusher/narrower seats but I still think the runners are the same.

Cracking bargain you have spotted, these look like HL seats - you would easily get your money back if you bought them and wanted to move them on.

Go for it!

All the seats are interchangeable because all the bodyshells had the threaded holes so you can fit any seat to any car except for the 1300fwd.

These are the narrower seats so not the right ones for yours but will fit, but you will have extra holes in your carpet and will be able to see where the original runners were on the carpet, not as comfortable either.

The wider front seats are more comfortable. I noticed the difference when I fitted the wider seats in my Dolomite 1300.
