Please can someone tell me where the negative lead bolts onto the engine/ chassis ??

The shorter end bolts to the inner wing. The other end uses one of the bolts on the timing chain cover. On my Track Sprint I use one of the lifting lug bolts just above the alternator.
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years.

On mine its always been one of the engine mounting bracket bolts....the one at drivers side 4 oclock.
Odd one that....
