I bought another Sprint!

#1 Post by USASPRINTMAN »

The red 1980 USA Sprint on eBay just became mine.
It went for $6,300 and change which would appear to be a whale of a deal.

I can't keep both Sprints. So when the red one gets here I will look it over and see if it is as good or better than my white Sprint, OMK 172R.

The best car stays. The other one goes. Which means someone in England can use the power of the pound agains the dollar to get an awesome deal.

Stay tuned...

well, I have a huge stash of dolly parts, so if it needs anything, I may just have it.

It seems to have all the right parts on it.

Anyone thinking of importing a restored Sprint will pay around $1700 just to get it from England to the port in the USA, plus who knows how much to get it to their driveway, so that dude lost money, most likely.

I may keep it until the Spring, and the try and move it at a profit.

November is the wrong time to sell a car like that and ending the auction at 11 a.m. on a Tuesday ain't the best way to sell the car either.

Richard, glad to see you brought the sprint looks like a great price, I know there was some people here on the west coast looking for a sprint one wanted to use as race car the other lady just to drive.
I meet them in Oregon at a Triumph show this summer, I will see if I can find out thir names etc.
take care Denis
