Can anyone identify this bracket please .....

For everything to do with Dolomites, Toledos, FWD cars and Dolomite-based kitcars.

Can anyone identify this bracket please .....

.... which I got in a box of useful Dolomite bits. It looks similar to the parcel shelf side bracket but there are no holes for the shelf fixings and this is rounded. The masking tape retains a short plastic clip-on shield that seems to go with it.

Hmmm..think it sits under the parcel shelf horizontally, somewhere near the transmission tunnel?

Nope!

The only place I can think of where it might fit is where the front parcel shelf inflects above each side of the transmission tunnel, but the reinforcers under the shelf that I've seen don't look like that...

I think it is the bracket that reinforces the parcel shelf under the steering column.
