#1 Post by Mplautos »

Very proud to reveal my fully restored Dolomite Sprint. Fully Taxed and M.O.T'd with no advisories, just need the right weather to stretch her legs properly now. :jump4joy: :jump4joy: :jump4joy:

Thanks for your posts, took me longer than I expected but pleased with the outcome.
I bought it 18 months ago, eBay & unseen but was tempted by the gold seal engine .
Glad to say it was a good gamble, done a few miles this weekend & can't fault it.
I had a sprint 28 years ago & was keen to get another,
Even the wife likes it ,or is that because she thinks she might see more of me.
Needless to say I've heard of another one coming up for sale local to me .

Bang tidy!

(I keep stopping myself looking at another one, no garage helps with that...)
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3
