SHK 1980 Sprint Restoration

#1 Post by Essexsarge »

Hi All,

Well finally after a 2 year break I am picking up my restoration again, I have plenty to do although she is not too bad.

However I did have a mad moment a while ago eager to start back on her and on something at standing level as room was tight to work on her.
So I decided it was a good idea to de-weld and remove the rear roof Vent panel . Now it seems evident these are not generally for sale anywhere would any of my fellow members have a decent s/h or new one?

I have read there is a GRP version although I have to say this does not sit well with me being a bit of a purest but i think you all might tell me to put it back and repair it or buy a GRP one?

What say you all? Can anyone help? Any suggestions welcome even the sarcastic ones are welcome

Stuart.

I'm just about to cut the roof off a scrap car. All but the O/S outer C pillar is in good to great condition. No sunroof.

You'd need to collect it, for obvious reasons, i'm in the (very) West Midlands. £50 will buy it!
