HS6 tuning advice?
HS6 tuning advice?
Hi,
A few years back I found and downloaded a really comprehensive article written by Jon Tilson (RIP) about the process of tuning and balancing the SPRINT's HS6's.
I've tried many times recently to find that article, searching both this site and through my so called "library". Maybe I didn't key in the right search words, but the only thing I found was a link to DollyWiki, that didn't/doesn't work and several referrals to one of several articles he wrote.....but alas, not the/an article.
Could someone either post a copy of that wonderfully comprehensive article here or email it to me please?
Thanks & Cheers,
Rob

Re: HS6 tuning advice?
Hi Rob
This isn't the full article, I think that was on Dollywiki that has disappeared into the ether, but the following link takes you to where Jon describes over a number of posts the tuning of the 1850 carbs (same for the Sprint). [url][http://forum.triumphdolomite.com/viewto ... =13988/url]
Hope this helps.

I think I may have a hard copy of the article. This was on the Dolly Wiki which has unfortunately disappeared into the ether.

I think this may be the article you refer to complete with one or two typo`s.
I saved it as a word document which if all goes well I will attach here.

Chris
