Hi Steve, I've got a set of Nankang NS-2R's on my Sprint and they are unbelievably good in the wet. So much so, instead of investing in a set of wets I'm going to stick with these.
I think they're quite inexpensive too!

As you can see, it was also 'a bit moist' at Croft on Friday too...

Yes, those conditions look familiar!

Are you still running 13" rims or have you gone up? I'm looking at 195/50/15. Not sure the Nankangs would help ME, the 2 door car's weigh distribution and overall weight is so different to a Sprint's. But that's one i've not tried yet so may give it a go, thanks for the tip! I can get the T1Rs for £50 a corner, which I thought was pretty good!

Steve

Great day at Combe as I was disappointed with the weather but it didn't spoil the enjoyment as much as I thought it might.

I went to take some pictures but it was such a mud bath I only got a few.. Really sad to see Robs car in such a state after a visit to the tire wall but I hope he has it back up and running soon. I had the privilege of a run in this car the year before and it really is a quick car.

Rob was at mine yesterday, cutting a rear quarter off one of my scrappers, all the rest of the damage is repaired and he hopes to be at Goodwood at the end of the month.
