door trim removal

door trim removal

re my 1500 fwd. ive bought a couple of door mirrors off rimmers and obviously have to remove the trim to access the inner panel to drill the holes. what order do i remove the trim please

First up is the window winder handle (don't lose the pin), undo the screws for the grab handle and you should be able to remove the door card. You might not need to remove the door card if you're just drilling a couple of holes for the mirror mount unless you're bolting it in from behind. I used spire clips with some self tapping screws to secure my driver's door mirror mount.

I've still got my passenger door mirror to fit so I may document this on video along with some photos for my resto thread.
