Who are you guys insured with and how much do you pay, mine is nearly up and it doesn't seem to be as easy as previous years getting a decent quote.

Thanks Pete

Peter James. But my policy has 3 cars on it, none at all std so my policy cost is irrelevant.
Agreed value (via the TSSC)and keeping them all MoT'd to avoid potential complications. Nearly 35K of cars, under £300 with 4 drivers. All old farts (over 50)

my renewal with Peter James is actually cheaper this year than it was last year. £138 last year, £118 this year. (That's 2 cars, 3 drivers, unlimited mileage, breakdown/recovery)

I also have two classics insured on one policy with Peter James. Very reasonable cost, especially when my MGB is very heavily modified.

I am with Carole Nash with both my classic bikes and my Dolly/MGB. About £150 for the cars. Comes with full European breakdown and recovery. I have used it a couple of times with the bikes and no problems with recovery.

Peter James here too, I recently had to make a claim and they were everything I could want from a broker.

I left Carole Nash after they put up my premium (3 classics) by 20% in spite of no claims. Went to Hagerty and got much better quote. Apparently most of the staff run classics so know what it is all about.

Peter James for me too. £200 to insure a Stag and Toledo with unlimited mileage, two drivers both low/mid 30s.

Unfortunately I have a criminal record (mental health issues) from 4 years ago and my insurance jumped from £88 with Peter James to £636 with Adrian Flux!

At my renewal this year Adrian Flux, who I have been with in the past for both the Dolly and MG, worked really hard to get my business back giving me the lowest quote for the Dolomite, reducing their recovery costs to below the package I had to cover all my cars and my biggest bug with them removing for life their now annual agreed valuation charges which in the end was going to be the deal breaker. Still have to go through the annual send off photos etc but no charge.

Next year we will see if they are still competitive, but shows of you push and they want your business they will come up with the goods. Part of the deal was to let them quote for the Volvo when that came up last month. On this they couldn't come near paid £315.00, they wanted £600 and could only come down to £500 so not very competitive there.
