can you remove the exhaust engine steady bar bracket,while the engine is still in the car ?

Yes you can.
Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Hi Galileo

When I tried today i found the bolts hit the inner wings,do I have to lift the engine ?

The bracket has slots doesnt it? Mine has and you can lift the bracket off slackened bolts. One slot is horizontal and the other vertical so it can be swivelled out of place once the "ball" joint part is removed from the bracket. HTH

It can be done, I had to remove my exhaust manifold, it is tight, but you can get all the bolts out without lifting the engine. You should be able to get the bar out.

I found undoing the subframe bolt help me refit it.
