Hiya all!

It's that time of year again, where I need a new insurance policy. I've been given a quote for Adrian flux that is half that of everyone else.

Has anyone had any bad experiences with them?

I'm with Adrian Flux, not had any claims with them so cannot comment on performance. What I can say is I had my Dolomite and MG insured with them for a few years and they were competitive until a couple of years ago. They started off with free agreed value then changed to charging every two years which then became annually with price hikes making them expensive so I moved on.

This year they worked hard to get my insurance, I no longer have the MG but they managed to offer a competitive quote for the Dolomite with the established insurer I was with when last using them, this however was then ruined by the annual agreed valuation charge. They immediately agreed to waive this but I argued that they would only stick it on next year and they siad no, they would give me free agreed valuation as per my current insurance for as long as I was with them.

They asked me to let them quote for my Volvo daily driver, which I did on renewal and they were 70% more expensive then my current insurer so lost that, but on the other hand gave me a very good price on breakdown cover for all of my cars.

I would however be very interested on any information about how they perform when handling claims etc. as that is very important and should be considered when taking on insurance, so if anyone has anything good or bad let us know, its the only way to make a proper decision on who to go with.
