A couple of us on the FB group who are reassembling Toledo front suspension have come across a small part that we can t identify where it comes from. It is a small cylindrical spacer about an inch long. it goes somewhere in the front suspension. It could be to do with an Anti roll bar which toledos were never fitted with. Any clues? I cant see it in any of the usual publications and its not on the rimmers site etc

There are two parts your description could be:

Subframe spacer part no: 159211
https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-159211

or

Anti-roll bar spacer part no: 153683 (fitted into the front strut of the lower wishbone to prevent the anti roll bar link 153735 from crushing it when tightened).
This is a Dolomite part, I'm not sure if anti roll bars were fitted to Toledo's in NZ, but they were not fitted to any UK cars I am aware of as original equipment, though of course they do fit due to the nature of the BL parts bin.

I wasn't aware of the existence of a sub-frame spacer, but I too would have guessed at the front anti-roll bar spacer; having retro-fitted Dolomite Sprint suspension front & rear anti-roll bars to my four-door, 1974 Triumph Toledo 1300 in 1982. :D 8)
