Round two!
Decided on another 3 coats of paint after a 1500 grit cut.

Great work. Coming on a treat.
Best colour in my opinion but then I am biased. Not far from you in Staines. Keep it coming.

Experimenting with this veneer, yet to stain them to kill the red a bit.

Had a go at the vinyl which was surprisingly easy.

The car will be fantastic when it finished. Veneer and vinyl roof look fab. What adhesive. Did you use on the roof?? Cheers Dave.

Looking great.

Was the vinyl roof easy enough to do with the sun roof cut out? You never know, I may have to do this one day!

Cheers Mart,
Not sure, I would say easier. I did start at the wing screen which wasn’t a good idea, I then started again at the front of the sunroof, worked forward then carried the rest on back. A prop and panel spanning the sunroof stopped the vinyl sagging in the car.

While you’re there Mart I hear you’re the man for the side stripes?

Thanks for that.

Yes I have stripes but you need to order them the usual way from Nigel at TDC Spares. We have black in stock.

Moving along now, pillar vinyl on and chrome.
Has anyone fitted the pillar vinyl and has issues with the rear door rubber clashing with it?
The shut gaps on this car are the one thing that bugs me on this car.
