Wiring loom - same throughout Dolly range ?

#1 Post by woolley11 »

I’ll be needing a wiring loom for my Sprint resto.

Are they the same throughout the range i.e. 1500HL through to Sprint?

Can’t see why not but best check if anyone can give a definitive

Thanks

Come and see some pretty shoddy, slow driving of a really well prepared competition Sprint here!

The Sprint and 1850HL looms are as near interchangeable as makes no difference, it's more important to get a series or year correct loom. None of the OHV car's looms are compatible with a slant powered car.

I had, of necessity, to fit a 1978 1850 loom (only good one I had spare at the time) to a 75 series 1 Sprint and had to make a couple of small mods concerning HRW wiring and headlight/front sidelight plugs. Nothing too complex though.
