Front Wing Baffle Plates

#1 Post by sm519193 »

Hi All,
Does anyone know who might supply the LH / RH Front wing Baffle plates and rubber seal? WKC2553 WKC2552
I can see the that Rimmer's have them as "no longer available", not a lot found on eBay and what was there wasn't all that appealing.

So I now have my nice new inner wing baffle plates :D
What finish should they have? The colour of the car? / something else?

Gloss Black if memory serves!

Smooth Hammerite is probably a fair option.

At this point, it's probably naughty of me to point out that your 79 car would have left the factory with plastic shields not the steel ones that were discontinued (I think) in the 76 range rationalisation.
