original technical publications USB

#1 Post by Manta »

Hi,
I have just received the original technical publications USB from Rimmer’s, but when I put it in my PC or Laptop (both windows) it’s asking to format the USB, I am sure that’s not a good idea, but has anyone else had this?

Don't format it, that will delete all the data. Often asks if you want to check it for virus etc. which would be ok.

Nothing in file explorer at all? if not, what does it say in the disk partition manager when you plug it in?

Sounds like it's either corrupt or they've sent it without data, as you said probs best to contact them
