Lumenition Chopper for 45D4 Dizzy

#1 Post by Mad Mart »

I want to fit a Lumenition PMA50 leccy ignition to a 44D4 dizzy. I have been reliably informed that it can be done using the FK117 fitting kit, a 45D rotor arm and an Ambassador dizzy cap (or maybe even the standard Sprint dizzy cap). I have a kit but the plastic "chopper" is missing. Does anyone have a spare, one I can borrow or who can make a fully dimensioned sketch so that I can make one?

Pic for reference only.

Ebay item number 372008430229 at £23.80. You get a spare 6 cylinder chopper with it which is only good for a T2000/PI etc (I have one too) but it gets the job done! Might be able to sell the unwanted one on via CT or somewhere like that.

I've dealt with this seller several times before, very reliable.

I recently had a Lumenition optical switch fail on my Sprint engine and have now fitted a Pertronix so must have the "chopper" in my spares.
Let me know if you cannot find one.
