My preferences are set that I should get an e-mail each time a PM is sent to me, but for some months now I've not been receiving them. However, this week the system has been catching up and I'm now getting e-mail notifications for PMs received weeks ago.

Is it the board, or is it my e-mail provider?

If you mean they stayed in your 'outbox' for a while, that is normal; they only transfer to 'sent messages' once the recipient has read them

Think of it in the same way as getting a Christmas card from your Aunty Doris which arrived in February, containing a cheque for a £100. You wouldn't really complain that much, would you?

It usually takes me 4 or 5 attempts to log in with a saved password before I stop seeing "Form Invalid" and actually log in. Sometimes I give up before that happens....
The Forum is getting really glitchy.

Try clicking on the link marked "Delete board cookies" and then try to login again from scratch using your username and password. When doing so, tick the "sign me in automatically" box. That will save your credentials on your PC. The Google Chrome browser gives you the option of saving your creds and using them to sign you in when you visit the site. We are aware that the latest forum software version has introduced one or two issues, hopefully these will be addressed by the next update, but logging in problems are not one of the issues we have been made aware of.
