i didnt measure, but the spring seat is exactly the same diameter as the spring, it has a raised area that sits snugly inside the end of the spring to locate it centrally. Then theres a smaller locking ring

Toledo springs are smaller diameter than dolomite springs. So you may have been sent dolomite shock seats. A matey had the opposite issue. He bought some discounted shocks from TRGB for his Vitesse, and they came with small seats. A call to Gaz, and they delivered teh correct ones FOC the next day.
