These have been NLA for more years than I can remember, one of my first posts on this forum back when I joined in 2011 concerned this very subject.

The odd one turns up on Ebay and at autojumbles from time to time and for exorbitant money, £20+ EACH is not unheard of.

So basically, you are into substitutes and your choice is limited by your wheel choice.

If you have the genuine Sprint alloy wheels, the nuts are specific to those wheels and so you are constrained to stick with the 7/16" UNF thread. In this case there are available studs for Pre 74 MkI Escort that can be slightly modified to do the job and which won't cost you an arm and a leg. There may be others that fit easier but i'm not aware of them.

If you AREN'T using the Sprint wheels, your choice is wider. You can of course still use the Escort studs but most people prefer to go metric and use the 12mm studs from the series I Freelander or MGF, which, if I understand correctly, the Freelander studs at least, fit without modification, though you would obviously need the matching nuts.

HTH, Steve

I had Rob at Sprintspeed rebuild my Sprint axle and he fitted longer 7/16" studs for me. I think they were slightly modified Ford ones. He could probably do you some at standard length.

Edit. Actually, I think he gave me the original ones back, so they are in my garage somewhere.
