My New Dolomite

#1 Post by andrew_27 »

I've just purchased my second Triumph this weekend, this rather nice 1850 (I already own a Toledo). Looks to have a genuine 68k on the clock going by the old MOT certificates which go back to 1987.

I drove it home up the A1 from Durham to Newcastle at the weekend without issues, however the gearchanges are a little vague and the brake pedal travels a but much for my liking so a gearbox top cover extension re-bush kit and a brake bleed will be the first two jobs!

The car seems to have been around the country quite a bit having been purchased from new in Halifax and spending some time in Essex, Rugby and Edinburgh!
