I am getting ready to sell my Sprint here in the States (through Bring A Trailer online auction). If anyone's interested it is KLK303N, which I imported in 2002.
I searched through the forum but can't find what the "DLA" stands for on the end of the commission plate.
VA10239DLA
According to the BHMT Certificate it came off the assembly line with an automatic, which was converted to 4speed w/OD sometime in the past
Can someone help me out?

Triumph used DL across all cars of that era (and earlier) for saloons. Convertibles are/were CV
std 4 speed had nothing after that.
Overdrive had an O
And auto an A

So a saloon with overdrive wuld have been DLO
