Multi Car Classic Insurance

#1 Post by Tony Burd »

I have a number of classic car policies all running with different companies & renewal dates, can anyone recommend a company for a multicar policy, I tried Classicline today but couldn't get through.

I have Ted's Sprint (AV £25k) my Elise (AV £20k) and a Stag (AV £5k) on a combined policy with Peter James. Unlimited mileage and breakdown cover included for an annual premium, just renewed, of £536. Having been with them some years, I did go to the market this renewal, but couldn't better the price. Away from home storage location declared on two of them.

I'm with Classicline for 2 highly modified Dolomites and SWMBO's Picasso, she's also on for both the Autos (Sprint and Picasso) Around £650 for the 3 but their attitude to mods is what swayed me, NOTHING fazed them, the list of mods on the Sprint ran to over 50 items and included some things i'd never have thought worth mentioning. It got so long in the end I got the guy to read out HIS list of possible mods to which nearly every response was "Yeah done that!"

Many moons ago when I had several Triumphs I used Footman James who did a multi-car policy with unlimited mileage. Also, when Peter James (formerly the James of Footman James) struck out on his own I think he might've offered the same. This was quite some time ago so my information may be out of date.
