With the passing of the years this is sadly becoming a rarer and rarer experience but, call this spooky, as I was driving home from Bamford in the Derby Hioh Peaks back to Plymouth in my Sprint I just caught the sight of someone flashing me in a russet Sprint (or modded 1850) as they passed me on the A515 enroute Monyash to Ashbourne near Fenny Bentley. Managed to get a quick wave out!! Pity we couldn't have stopped for a yap!!

Hi Mike. I think I spotted a reply to your Facebook post - the brown Sprint was that of Jonathan Tew of Notcutts fame.

Jonathan and I organised the TDCIR last year and will do so again this September.

Good to see you getting some good miles in your car!
