Hello folks.
Model registers of classic cars can be extremely useful to owners of the respective marque in many ways from simply adding to the story of a car somebody owns, helping prospective purchasers understand more about a car they are considering buying, providing evidence in support of DVLA issues etc. I personally have benefitted from the existence of a TR6 Register when it supported me in identifying and recovering the original registration number of my TR6.
Unlike many classic models the 1850 Dolomites have never had an actual Register of known cars. I have accepted that challenge and started work on the project, but I can’t do it without your help. I need to know about as many 1850s (others are looking after the related models in the range) as possible. If you own one please share the details, but you don’t need to own one to help, if you owned one in the past tell me as much as you remember about it and what happened to it. If you see one for sale, let me know (I will be looking at the main sites regularly but a duplicate report is much better than not having one at all) All intelligence is useful in building a database.
To make this as easy as possible I’ve built a simple form in Google which captures all of the key data points, you don’t need to provide all points, in fact the only mandatory item is the Registration number, the rest is optional, just tell me what you know, it’s all useful.
The form can be found here:-

I must stress that all data provided is in confidence and will not be shared with any 3rd parties.
You do not need to be a member of any club to make a submission, nor do you have to be located in the UK. The Register is being created for the benefit of all owners past and present.
I also welcome feedback on the form.
I look forward to receiving your submissions.
Thanks
