browny run very well on yokohama tyres alot better then the avons.....just replaced the gearbox,locking in 1st and 2nd gear and plenty of crunching thru gears..new gearbox is sweet and smooth,,when i got the replacement gearbox drain the oil and no fileings at all.seller told me that he had it early 2000s and had it rebuilt 20yrs ish ago...happy dayz are here again
Dolomite 1300,1980`V`reg in british racing brown(russet),3.63 diff with 21t speedo pinion,95%poly`d,HL clocks,standard wheels with SE covers wrapt in 175 70 13,mot`d 19-09-2014,been off the since 1990,(july2017) stainless steel exhaust 3-piece,(xmas2018) wooden mountney steering wheel,(june2020) new monroe shock(radial front,gas-matic rears) with -1" lower`d springs all round.

dolly going great but had little elecy glitch other week,engine cut out for no reason at all(head scratch few time),after looking at all connections,still had the problem.....closer look took me to ign switch key side,turned out to be black crud build up inside the ign switch keyside,,,,cleaned it out with wd40,thin smear of electrical paste and hey presto problem solved... great days are back
