Roose ally radiator boss size....

#1 Post by shaunroche »

Bought one of these yonks ago and have just got 'round to fitting it.

It has a welded in threaded boss for a temp switch but no blanking plug....does anyone know what thread that's likely to be please?

Tried Roose, not the most communicative of companies if I'm honest!

I don't know for sure but Stoney racing sell a Rad fan switch that's M14x1.5 that may give you a starting point

It seems to be a similar size to the thermostat brass plug which is 7/8 UNF I think so that might point to M22?

M22 x 1.5 does seem to be something of a standard for rad switches from the likes of Hella etc...
