When that car was new, I was working for Stewart and Ardern! Alas, the North Harrow branch, rather than Hayes. But I have a vague memory of the salesman, Don Hibbert.

Interestingly, I have the Ziebart invoice for the Carledo and in January of 73, it was only £33! Or maybe the considerable difference is "London Weighting" cos the the Carledo was Ziebarted in Beverly Yorkshire!

Wow that’s cool Steve! Definitely London tax mate. Everything is a rip off round these parts and I’m 30 miles South of the
place!

Ziebart was obviously a great investment though however much you had to pay for it. We are getting the benefit all of these years on too.

All 3 of my Dolomites were Ziebarted when new, can't be a coincidence! I really reckon the stuff, so much so, i've got hold of new Ziebart stickers for them! Not often the product outlasts the advertising!

I'm thinking of running a poll on here to see if I can work out what percentage of surviving cars were Ziebarted. Just for interest really, but I have a hunch it's going to be a majority.
