Trackerjack Brake kit

#1 Post by Holiday97 »

Hi, I am just fitting my brake kit which was a new unused kit which I purchsed on Ebay. A very good kit which uses a 1300cc KA Brake Calipers. In the kit are a set of Volvo Brake pads that do not fit, the locating lugs are to big and do not fit the carrier or caliper. In the instrutions it says uses pads to match your caliper so that would mean KA pads. Any thoughts, I could modify the lugs ,but not really the right thing to do.

The correct pads for the Ka caliper are Allied Nippon part number ADB 0899.

If you give this number to your local factors they can cross reference it to your desired brand.

Hi, I have just finished fitting my Tracker Jack conversion and very pleased with the results.
I have just road tested the Sprint and I can already see the improvement of the conversion and that's without the pads bedded
it yet. I still need to do further work on the rear brakes which will improve the brakes even more.
Anyway this is just a thank you to Steve (Carledo) and Jon for producing the parts req.
Cheers Gary.
