Sprint for Restoration

#1 Post by ChrisS »

So a friend of mine has had his Sprint since the 70s - possibly bought it new when he was an airline pilot.

Having had a couple of strokes, he is not likely to use it any more and so will soon be selling it.

Always kept in a garage and it has never been restored but the weather has got at the body in most of the usual places, and so it needs a full restoration. Hopefully we can even get the engine fired up and running.

He wants it to go to to a new owner who will keep it and enjoy it.

Colour is green, possibly Brooklands. It is not yet available but soon will be taking pictures, and offering it up for sale.

There is also a sprint for sale with no details except needs full restoration for £675 in classic car weekly newspaper last week. In Dorset I recall. I mention this as some brave soul might be able to make one sprint out of two donors?
