They've had these fiendish fun making devices in Parthenay in France for a couple of years. I avoid 'em like the plague 'cos they scare me and I don't fancy the repair bills to the car either

Was it me or did the bus driver hesitate a wee while before driving over them? Did he reckon the silver car driver would try and follow him?  :D

Oh yeah, just looked again and saw the passenger hop off. I think the silver car might have made it if he hadn't dropped of the passenger tho'.

Isn't he just letting people off the bus?

They've got several of them around the Uni car parks here, I've seen at least one example of such stupidity...

Now that's funny!! They have these in Newport, Gwent.

I did some work with the council recently and found out this happens all the time.

They are (should be) totally foolproof though as there are traffic lights at each post which change from Green to Red oddly enough. There is also a siren which sounds everytime they go up or down. If you need access there is an Intercom you can use to talk to the control room and they can remotely open them, the buses have a proximity tag fitted.

Still, some people are a bit dosey.

First black car was the best, not only do the rear wheels leave the ground but you can see the driver rubbing his head as he gets out of the car!! Ho! Ho!
