I found some Sierra calipers to re furb for the trackerjack brakes. They were a bit crusty. The one on the right shows the condition they were both in..

A blast with the wire wheel on the grinder, new seals, pistons, and bleed nipples, and they’ve turned out ok. I’ll give them a lick of paint when I’ve checked for clearances when they are fitted up.


I’ve fully undersealed the car and am now pumping a load of Bilt Hamber dynax into the cavities. I’ve got a full set of polybushes and Gaz adjustable shocks to fit next.



I’ve also bought a pair of trailing arms because mine were rotted out around the shock mount.

Im really enjoying the tinkering at the moment. Hoping to be on the road for a show down at my old man’s place in Northiam sometime in mid June. I’ve also booked LLU into the Patina show at Lulingstone castle in August. https://patina.events/ looks like it will be a good event.
