Hello all

I found some Sierra calipers to re furb for the trackerjack brakes. They were a bit crusty. The one on the right shows the condition they were both in..

A blast with the wire wheel on the grinder, new seals, pistons, and bleed nipples, and they’ve turned out ok. I’ll give them a lick of paint when I’ve checked for clearances when they are fitted up.

I’ve fully undersealed the car and am now pumping a load of Bilt Hamber dynax into the cavities. I’ve got a full set of polybushes and Gaz adjustable shocks to fit next.

I’ve also bought a pair of trailing arms because mine were rotted out around the shock mount.

Im really enjoying the tinkering at the moment. Hoping to be on the road for a show down at my old man’s place in Northiam sometime in mid June. I’ve also booked LLU into the Patina show at Lulingstone castle in August. https://patina.events/ looks like it will be a good event.

Still plodding on here….

I’ve finished the rear end - all polybushes, new brake shoes, braded lines, and a rebuilt lsv.

So on to the front end yesterday and have had a good weekend stripping it out, bushes removed, paint stripped, and then a lick of paint.

Still hoping to be back on the road this month. 🤞🏻

The front end is coming along. Bushes all went in without any bother. New ball joints all round and the brake conversion from Jon all went together as expected. I’ve just got to fit the calliper's and brake hoses, then bleed the brakes.

I’ve a couple of days off of work this week so should have the time to get LLU back on the tarmac and able to drive down to my old man’s local show next weekend. 🤞🏻

It could be the perfect shakedown run. I’ll report back….
