Queerie re gearbox bolts to engine plate
Mine has threaded hole 5No from starter around to about 4o'clock the remainder being larger holes for nut and bolt.
Is this normal

I put my box back on a few months ago, I seem to recall the fixings were a
mixture of nut & bolt and blind tapped holes.
So yes, I think that is how it`s supposed to be.....
