My auto Inca Sprint.

#1 Post by Reg »

A couple of weeks ago I went to Alun's and got back home with this..a genuine auto sprint..

It needs a bit of tlc here and there, welding ect..I can cope with that..what I cannot stand, is that at some point, some idiot's have got to it and jacked it up on the seams of the sills and proceeded to crush them..then there is the plonker who decided to put an ariel slap bang in the middle of the roof!!.. :fuming:..it's now been removed.

The engine is very sweet..Alun and I think it's a genuine 69,000 miler..

After a wash and polish for the first time in many years!..

All the lights work ok too..not bad considering it's been sitting since 1999! I love it.. :eyes4u:
Pic's to follow as I progress.

Thanks David..along with the location, it's the reason I bought the place to be honest.. I came to view the house and I said.. "Let's look at the garage first.."

Nah, it's staying an auto, i've already got a manual. Now i've got one of each I have a choice of boxes to drive depending on my mood on the day. Manuals are overated anyway..far too many cars are converted to manual..why give your left leg more work while grinding gears all day? Then having hassle with slave and master cylinders and clutches..all that just to be "in control.." no ta..

I can confirm to all that Reg's garage is the absolute dog's....

All he needs down there is a camp bed and he wont even bother going up the drive to bed...

7th photo down, that's your D post Jon!

If only I'd washed and polished it I might not have been so 'generous'...or should that be desperate?

It is good to have space to move again though!

After having a quick go in Jonners 1850 auto, I think the Sprint auto will be a lot of fun
